WHAT WE DO

Our Motivation. The idea.

"AKOSIWA e. V." is a non-profit organisation that promotes music education in Kusuntu, a small village in Togo.

To this end, we collect discarded instruments in Germany and organise their transport to Togo. We have founded a music association in Kusuntu and work together with music teachers from Germany who already have experience with projects in Africa.

The music school is open to all village residents who are interested. We therefore also incorporate traditional instruments and singing.

VISION:

We give people the opportunity to develop their talent. This strengthens their self-confidence and makes it easier for them to master life's challenges.

MISSION:

We give people a perspective and at the same time promote self-responsibility. The aim is to transform people from helplessness to discovering their own potential.
